Job summary

Acuative is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and maintain voice and data networks, servers, and retail technology systems. The role covers travel to customer sites, with paid training and support for each routed job.

A company vehicle and gas card are provided, and technicians are guaranteed forty hours of pay per week. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, COVID-19 vaccination, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with after-hours callouts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Cabling or PBX are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Support retail technology systems (POS, Digital Signage, Video Surveillance).
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling; conduct site surveys and audits.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and fixed wireless antennas; handle ladders and cabling as needed.
• Submit accurate job-related documentation and maintain company vehicle and tools.
