Job summary

Acuative Corporation is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support network and technology infrastructure at customer locations in the Indianapolis area. The role includes company vehicle, paid training, and opportunities for overtime.

Prior field service or IT experience is preferred, but a strong technical background and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Associate degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
Strong fundamentals in networking hardware and troubleshooting.
Willingness to learn and adapt to diverse customer environments.

Responsibilities

Install, replace, relocate, rack, stack, mount, and provide Smart Hands support for routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and other hardware.
Perform physical installation and cabling across multiple platforms, including structured cabling and fixed wireless.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues using test equipment; document circuits, IDs, and infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys to document existing infrastructure, power, and installation requirements.
Install LEO satellite and fixed wireless equipment, route cables, and configure associated hardware.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and safety equipment, and handle after-hours support as needed.
