Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and measurements at client sites across the region. The role involves setting up and removing test equipment, collecting data, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with 2+ years of experience and OSHA/NFPA training. A technical degree and NETA 2 certification are preferred; travel and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from a technical college or trade school preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in field service testing or related area.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized equipment using proper lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collect and record data accurately and prepare written reports.
