Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection. The role includes setting up/removing test equipment, conducting maintenance testing, and adhering to hazardous energy procedures with limited supervision.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 50% and strong customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years of field experience.
• Experience in electrical testing or field service preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test equipment setup and removal; ensure proper handling and storage.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submissions.
• Perform basic electrical measurements and record data accurately.
• Travel up to 50% and work OT as needed.
