Job summary

POWERX seeks a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection. Responsibilities include setting up test equipment, executing acceptance and maintenance testing, and maintaining reporting accuracy.

A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required as travel up to 50% is expected. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years of experience, OSHA 30/ NFPA 70-E training is a plus, and NETA Level 2 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.
• NETA Level 2 certification preferred.
• 2+ years of field service or electrical testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under supervision.
• Set up and operate test equipment; collect data accurately.
• Write detailed test reports and submit timely outputs.
• Follow hazardous energy procedures and maintain equipment.
• Support project teams and contribute to client deliverables.
