POWERX is hiring a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests and measurements. You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct basic acceptance and maintenance testing, and help ensure safe handling of energized and de-energized systems.

The role requires traveling up to 50%, strong customer service, and the ability to document findings clearly. A high school diploma is required; NETA 2 certification and related trainings are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• NETA Level 2 certification preferred.
• 2+ years of field technician experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70‑E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized equipment using lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collect and record test data accurately.
• Set up and remove test equipment for various testing activities.
• Prepare and submit detailed test reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools and equipment.
