Job summary

POWERX, a leading power engineering company, seeks a Field Service Technician (NETA 1) to assist with test setup, basic measurements, and maintenance tasks. Travel up to 50% and strict safety requirements apply; you’ll support senior techs, perform data collection, and help ensure equipment readiness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 30-hour or equivalent, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED certifications are a plus.
• Travel up to 50% and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and removing test equipment for various testing activities.
• Perform basic electrical measurements under supervision and record data.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of test equipment.
• Support senior technicians and perform additional tasks as needed.
