Job summary

POWERX is hiring a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection with limited supervision. You will set up testing gear, conduct acceptance and maintenance tests, and assist in reporting results to clients while maintaining equipment in good condition.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience, and basic electrical theory knowledge; NETA 2 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Background/MVR check required.
• Pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion and/or random drug tests required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical acceptance and maintenance testing.
• Set up and remove test equipment; conduct testing and collect data.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings and ensure timely submission.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of test equipment.
• Travel up to 50% and work with limited supervision; support project goals as needed.
