Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests and data collection. You will set up test equipment, conduct maintenance testing, and ensure safety procedures with limited supervision.

The role requires travel up to 50%, strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. NETA certs and OSHA-related trainings are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Set up and remove test equipment and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings and submit timely.
• Perform basic electrical measurements and record data accurately.
• Travel up to 50% and adapt to evolving business needs.
