Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection on customer sites. You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct acceptance and maintenance testing under limited supervision, and document results.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and 2+ years of experience. NETA level 2 is preferred; OSHA 30, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.
• 2+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test for de-energized locked out/tagged out equipment.
• Collect and record test data accurately.
• Assist in setting up and removing test equipment; maintain proper handling and storage of equipment.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
