Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests and measurements, and to collect data on site with limited supervision.

You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct acceptance and maintenance testing, document results, and assist in report writing while following safety procedures. Travel up to 50% may be required.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience, and NETA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree from an accredited 2-year technical college or trade school preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.
• 2+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.
• Must pass background/MVR check and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized equipment and record data accurately.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain cleanliness and storage of tools.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings; submit timely.
• Perform basic electrical measurements under supervision.
