Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection. You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct basic acceptance and maintenance testing, and ensure safety procedures are followed with limited supervision.

The role requires knowledge of electrical theory, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70-E training are advantageous as is NETA 2 certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field service experience.
• NETA Level 2 certification preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized equipment using proper lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collect and record test data accurately and promptly.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain clean work areas and equipment.
