Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) to supervise and perform complex electrical tests and evaluations. You will interact with engineers and managers, set up test equipment, and ensure safety and compliance across projects.

Strong reporting and troubleshooting abilities are essential. The role requires 10+ years of electrical field experience, NETA 4 preferred, and a valid driver’s license for travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of electrical field experience.
• NETA certification level 4 preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from a technical college preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.
• Background/MVR check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical tests and measurements.
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring safe work practices and timely delivery.
• Write and review detailed test reports on findings.
• Coordinate with engineers and managers on corrective actions.
• Travel up to 50% and work in varied environments.
