Job summary

FMH Conveyors, part of the Duravant family, is adding a Field Service Technician to the Lifecycle Services team. This role travels to customer sites (up to 80%) for installation, maintenance, repairs, audits, and training on OEM equipment.

You will perform mechanical and electrical modifications, including PLC programming, and ensure proper operation and safety compliance across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• AAS or BS in a technical field is preferred.
• 3 years of field experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic components and HMI.
• 3 years of diagnosing, troubleshooting, emergency service and repair in the field.
• AB CompactLogix PLC and RSLogix500/5000 programming experience.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a US passport.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, start-up/commissioning, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, audits, and training.
• Make mechanical/electrical modifications including PLC programs and servo drive configuration.
• Conduct site visits with customers and train their personnel on operations and maintenance.
• Meet service delivery goals: response time, first-time fix, and customer satisfaction.
