Job summary

FMH Conveyors, a Duravant family company, seeks a Field Service Technician for Lifecycle Services in Dallas, TX. The role involves installation, start-up, preventive maintenance, and repairs at customer sites, with up to 80% travel.

You will work with mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and servo drives. AAS/BS in relevant fields and 3+ years field experience are expected, along with a valid driver's license and passport eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ field experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, emergency service and repairing electronics and mechanical machine problems.
• AB CompactLogix PLC and RSLogix500/5000 programming experience including minor modifications to PLC programs.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics, including schematics.
• Experience with configuring VFD parameters and servo drives/motors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field service calls at customer sites for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform mechanical and electrical modifications including PLC and servo configurations.
• Explain job scope and results to customer contacts and train their personnel.
• Meet service delivery goals: response time, first-time fix, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain paperwork, CRM entries, timesheets, and expenses in a timely manner.
