Job summary

FMH Conveyors is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Lifecycle Services with installation, start-up, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, audits, and training at customer sites. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems and hands-on PLC programming experience.

The ideal candidate holds an AAS/BS in Mechatronics or related field, with 3 years of field experience diagnosing and repairing electronics and machines.

Qualifications

• AAS or BS in Mechatronics, EE, EET, EECS, or Industrial Electronics is desired.
• 3 years’ experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic components, and HMI.
• 3 years’ experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, emergency service and repairing electronics and mechanical problems in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service calls for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, audits, retrofits, and training at customer sites.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical modifications including PLC programs and servo drive configuration.
• Meet service delivery goals: fast response, first-time fix, and high customer satisfaction.
• Provide equipment reliability feedback to quality engineering and collaborate on improvements.
