Job summary

Tech24 is hiring a Field Service Technician in San Antonio, TX. This role services commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will operate with a company-provided vehicle and tools, and participate in ongoing technical training and benefits as described. The position requires 3-5+ years of repair experience, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and lift up to 50+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables)
• Perform preventative maintenance for safe, efficient operation
• Document service calls, parts, labor hours, and customer interactions accurately
• Communicate repair status and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls promptly and professionally
• Represent the company with professionalism and high-quality customer service
• Follow safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development
