Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a Field Service Technician for Midland, TX to service hot and cold kitchen equipment, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will troubleshoot commercial foodservice machinery, maintain refrigeration systems, and document work performed with accuracy.

The role emphasizes reliable, safe service, teamwork with the broader Tech24 network, and ongoing technical training. A strong candidate brings 3–5+ years of experience and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation; EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems (walk-ins, ice machines, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance for safe, efficient operation.
• Document service calls, parts used, and hours in the company system.
• Communicate repair status and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to stock parts and tools.
• Respond to service calls promptly and professionally.
• Follow safety regulations and participate in ongoing training.
