Job summary

Tech24 in San Antonio, TX is seeking a skilled Hot & Cold Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment. You will deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally on every call.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in commercial foodservice or refrigeration repair, own hand tools, and are capable of independent work. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
