Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a Regular Full Time Foodservice (Hot-Side) Technician in San Antonio, TX to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial cooking equipment at customer sites. You will work independently in the field, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3-5+ years of repair experience, a valid driver's license, and strong troubleshooting skills. We offer comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and a company vehicle with gas card.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial cooking equipment repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Strong gas and/or electric troubleshooting experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations
• Test components and verify proper operation after repairs
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
