Job summary

Tech-24 A Commercial Food Service Repair Company Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems. You will provide exceptional customer service while working on hot-side and cold-side equipment.

Qualified technicians have 3-5+ years of relevant experience, a valid drivers license, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills. Benefits include company vehicle, gas card, uniforms, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
