Job summary

Greenway Equipment is seeking a Service Technician to independently diagnose and repair John Deere and related equipment. The role includes field service, maintaining safety, and thorough documentation of all work performed.

You will stay current with John Deere technology, train on new tools, and mentor apprentices while ensuring top-notch customer experience and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in John Deere equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and following Technical Manual procedures.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues.
• Must maintain safety rules and thorough documentation of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment.
• Performs repairs in the field as required.
• Develop a thorough understanding of all technology offerings.
• Accountable for billable time and documentation of diagnostics and repairs.
• Mentors Apprentices and junior Service Technicians.
