Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience using special tools and following Technical Manual procedures.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues.
• Experience with Service Advisor or equivalent software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair John Deere equipment.
• Perform field repairs as needed.
• Understand and apply technology offerings.
• Document diagnostics and repairs thoroughly.
• Participate in required training.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Prepare reports and forms.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Maintain vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
