Job summary

Kapsch is seeking a Field Service Technician in Memphis to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ITS devices and infrastructure supporting the Memphis SmartWay system.

You will handle preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and support CCTV, DMS, HAR, fiber networks, and wireless systems while maintaining logs and inventory. On-call rotation applies and long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 6+ years of ITS field experience preferred.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, fiber optic, and network systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use testing equipment.
• Experience with low voltage systems and wireless communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ITS systems.
• Respond to and resolve trouble tickets within required timelines.
• Diagnose and repair complex ITS device issues across CCTV, DMS, HAR, and networks.
• Maintain logs, inventory, and service records; support subcontractors.
• Guide junior technicians in field operations.
