Job summary

DistributionNOW is seeking a Service Technician who will provide on-site service, support customers during field visits, and drive continuous improvement in service quality. You will diagnose issues, execute repairs, and document results to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to varying schedules.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Tie workflow to schedule.
• Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions on equipment.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Document processes.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems.
• Follow all company’s field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings within capabilities.
• Build positive relationship with customers.
