North American Construction Services, Ltd. is hiring a permanent Field Service Technician to join our team in Mobile, AL.

The role involves on-site electrical and mechanical support, assisting engineers, and traveling up to 80% to service industrial equipment. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with troubleshooting or commissioning, and an associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation technology is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience with equipment troubleshooting or commissioning.
8+?
Ability to read drawings and understand BOMs.

Responsibilities

Assist Engineers onsite as the second technician to support more complex service work
Work under supervision while developing skills for solo service on smaller, more basic jobs
Provide electrical and mechanical support during equipment troubleshooting or commissioning
Assist with fuel train assembly, testing, and other shop tasks when not in the field
Join site crews during component and electrical installation stages to gain experience and help free up Engineers
Support external and internal sales opportunities
