Job summary

Fives Group seeks a Field Service Technician to plan, install, and support product implementations at client sites. You will troubleshoot field equipment and ensure long-term operation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical knowledge, and travel up to 75% domestically and internationally. A technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong customer-facing and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
• Solid mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience in repairing and maintaining equipment.
• Experience with controls, VFDs, MCCs, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Proficiency in PC usage: MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and support product implementations at client sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve in-field equipment issues.
• Maintain and service products per users' needs; upgrade as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.
