Job summary

Wide Open West is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot WOW! internet, phone, and video services in customer homes and businesses. You’ll be in the field, solving problems, educating customers, and ensuring a reliable, high-quality experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with field service tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete new installations, reconnections, disconnections, upgrades and service changes.
• Install and relocate outlets, modems, wiring and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot service issues from customer equipment to network.
• Test, maintain, and repair coaxial cable and related components.
• Perform network troubleshooting including speed tests.
• Educate customers on how to use equipment and services.
