Job summary

WOW! is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot WOW! internet, phone, and video services in assigned neighborhoods.

This hands-on, customer-facing role rewards problem-solving, independent work, and strong communication as you educate customers and ensure a reliable experience. You’ll use outlets, modems, wiring, testing gear, and a company vehicle; a valid driver’s license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Comfort using hand tools, testing equipment, and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot WOW! internet, phone, and video services in assigned neighborhoods.
• Complete new installations, upgrades, downgrades, and service changes.
• Install and relocate outlets, modems, converters, wiring, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot service issues from customer equipment to the network tap.
• Perform network testing including ping tests and speed tests.
• Educate customers on how to use equipment and services.
