Job summary

Scientific Games is looking for a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations, performing installs, removals, and maintenance on POS and vending equipment. The role includes training customers and providing on-site solutions to equipment issues.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong customer-service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot both software and hardware. Travel to customer sites and occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations (installs, removals, PMs, and unscheduled service).
• Provide positive customer experience using service and technical skills.
• Communicate value of services and match products to customer needs.
• Perform field repair functions including installs, removals, and routine maintenance with limited supervision.
• Maintain vehicle according to guidelines and ensure timely arrival at locations.
• Coordinate with Data Center to understand problems at each site.
• Record service data and report communications problems to management.
• Troubleshoot communications within a retail location.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues efficiently.
• Occasionally assist in training new team members.
• Work weekends, holidays, evenings; overtime as needed.
• Lifting/moving equipment up to 50 pounds; occasional ladder use.
