Job summary

Colonial Group in the United States seeks a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business communications services, including telephone, internet, and video. Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft.
Color discrimination capability for color-coded cables.
Basic technology and math skills.
Completion of required safety training.
Willingness to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
Train and work with tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
Recommend products and services to resolve customer needs.
Work on buried and aerial plant requiring climbing and ladder use.
Safely operate and maintain the company service vehicle.
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments and complete safety training.
