Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business telecommunications services nationwide. You will use test equipment, advise customers on products, and work on both buried and aerial networks.

The role requires physical fitness, color vision, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cables.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft.
• Ability to operate with load capacity of 275 lbs.
• Must complete required safety training.
• Willingness to work day/evening/weekend/holiday hours.
• Ability to respond to after-hours callouts.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services (telephone, internet, video).
• Train with tools and test equipment to service various technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
• Work with both buried and aerial plant; wear safety gear and climb ladders/poles as needed.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle.
• Work indoors and outdoors in diverse environments.
• Complete safety training and follow regulations.
• Report to Manager of Local Operations.
