Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO INTERNATIONAL, INC. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service floor and bench scales at customer sites in the assigned region. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs while upholding professional standards.

The role requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in environments with chemicals and heavy equipment. Training and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical repair.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Weights and Measures license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations, projects, and repairs.
• Provide end-user training on proper equipment use and care.
• Document work using service software and maintain service records.
• Coordinate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support, and sales to meet uptime targets.
• Maintain company vehicle and inventory in a safe, organized manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads within your scope.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies.
