METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to service floor and bench scales at customer locations in the assigned region. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs while representing the company professionally.

You will travel to customer sites, document work in service software, and collaborate with teammates to meet uptime and response-time targets. The role requires a valid license, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years relevant work experience.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred; commercial experience desired.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical repair, including PC networking and software configuration.
• 1–3 years of electro/mechanical repair or weighing industry experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL and Weights and Measures license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to learn proprietary METTLER TOLEDO software.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 10% on average, potentially up to 25%.
• Must reside within the service territory.
• Overtime averaging 10–15%, possibly up to 25%.
• Willingness to work in environments with hazards (chemicals, solvents, etc.).
• Willingness to wear protective equipment and clothing when required.
• Position is safety sensitive and may be drug tested.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent movements (crouching, stooping, kneeling).

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations and repairs with experienced techs.
• Provide end-user training on equipment usage and care.
• Document work using a company laptop and service software.
• Coordinate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support, sales and other techs to meet uptime targets.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory in a compliant manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads when appropriate.
• Follow all safety, quality and company policies on the job.
