Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician to serve as the on-site expert for customers across the assigned region, performing preventative maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs on industrial weighing equipment. You will document work and ensure data integrity in the service database daily.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting with senior technicians, providing operator training, coordinating with scheduling, and maintaining the company vehicle and parts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical repair, including PC networking and software configuration.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations, projects, and repairs as needed with senior technicians.
• Provide end-user training so operators understand how to use and care for their equipment correctly.
• Document work performed and update service records in the service database daily.
• Coordinate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support Team, sales, and fellow technicians to meet uptime and response-time expectations.
• Maintain company vehicle and assigned parts inventory in a clean, organized, and compliant manner.
