Job summary

Mettler Toledo AG is seeking a Field Service Technician to service industrial weighing equipment on-site with customer teams across the region. You will perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs while ensuring data integrity and proper documentation.

You will train end-users, document activities in service software, and coordinate with Scheduling, Support, and Sales to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance and calibration of industrial weighing equipment.
• Basic repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel and obtain CDL Class B.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues and support installations, projects, and repairs as needed.
• Provide end-user training on equipment use and care.
• Document work performed using service software and maintain service records.
• Communicate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support Team, sales, and fellow technicians to meet uptime and response-time goals.
• Maintain company vehicle and assigned parts inventory in a clean, organized, and compliant manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads in line with experience level.
• Follow all safety and quality policies to ensure a safe work environment.
