Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating compressors and related air systems at customer sites across multiple East Area locations.

The role involves diagnosing equipment, providing technical guidance, and ensuring accurate documentation and reports. Travel 1–2 times per year, on-call rotations, and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, HVAC concepts, and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw, reciprocating, and Centac/ECC air compressors.
• Perform field service and provide technical advice at customer locations.
• Train customers, field salespeople, and service trainees as needed.
• Submit detailed technical reports and keep accurate records for billing.
