Motorola Solutions seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to perform on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of ASTRO systems across the U.S. The role requires strong IT and networking knowledge, with the ability to obtain a security clearance and travel up to 80%. Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, or LMR.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP within first 12 months of employment.
• Ability to travel 75–80% domestically and internationally.
• Residence within 60 miles of a mid/large international airport.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Assist with networking, Cyber Security principles, and LMR communications.
• Administer and troubleshoot IT environments (LAN/WAN, servers, endpoints).
• Document activities and provide weekly reports.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
