Job summary

Aventiv Technologies is hiring an on-site and roving field service technician to repair, install and maintain telecommunications hardware and networking systems in correctional facilities. You will support tablet programs, supply inventories, and provide training to customers and staff.

Responsibilities include wiring and configuring devices, troubleshooting complex issues, and coordinating with dispatch for timely service. Strong multitasking and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years installing, repairing, and maintaining telecom and networking devices.
• Experience with Windows OS, VOIP, Adtran Fortinet, AOS, Cisco IOS and wireless tech.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, program and install telecom hardware and networking equipment in correctional facilities.
• Install phones, kiosks, video terminals, tablets and related equipment.
• Provide on-site support, site surveys, and training for customers.
• Coordinate with dispatchers for assignments and ETA.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and training as needed.
• Manage inventories and tools for assigned assets.
