Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree/Related Trade Certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields; equivalence via work experience acceptable.
• Minimum of 5 years troubleshooting and field repair of electrical/electronic systems.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focus; able to travel on short notice.
• Must maintain currency on technical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, services, installs and repairs Trace, X-Ray, CT X-Ray and Cargo Inspection equipment at customer sites.
• Maintains field service log and documents inspections, maintenance and repair work.
• Responds to emergency/non-scheduled calls within established response times.
• Keeps parts inventory updated and drives parts cycle time.
• Provides customer training as required and supports service sales opportunities.
