Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a Field Service Technician II in San Diego, CA to service printers, copiers, and related office technology. You will travel within your territory to install, repair, upgrade, and retrofit equipment, while ensuring minimal downtime for customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on fault finding, training, and strong customer communication, with a focus on keeping business-critical devices running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair and service of copier and office equipment
• Intermediate computer skills and electro‑mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance per Toshiba policy

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and office tech at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required training and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies
