Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in New York, NY. You will maintain, repair, and install printers, copiers, and related office tech at customer sites across your territory, delivering hands-on support and training.

You will diagnose equipment issues, perform upgrades and preventative maintenance, and document service activities while upholding safety policies. With strong electro-mechanical aptitude and a customer-first mindset, you’ll contribute to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships may be considered in lieu of the required experience.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage as per Toshiba policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.
