Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions in Fishers, Indiana, is looking for a Field Service Technician II to install, service and repair office technology for customers within the assigned territory.

You’ll troubleshoot and repair printers and copiers, perform installations and upgrades, and provide product training. You will document service activities, follow safety policies, and participate in ongoing Toshiba and dealer training as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures
