Job summary

IEM in Seattle seeks a Field Service Technician Level II to perform start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service on IEM equipment, including switchboards, control panels, and power products.

You’ll diagnose issues, document actions, train Level I technicians, and coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, and customers in the field, often traveling to sites to support implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience with switchgear start-up and commissioning.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install and modify electrical components and subassemblies.
• Document service activities and follow-up requirements.
• Assist Level I technicians with training and guidance.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and customers in the field.
