Job summary

Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service support for electrical distribution equipment. The role involves working independently, resolving technical issues, and documenting activities efficiently.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent experience and at least 1 year of experience with switchgear start-ups. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. Occasional travel may be required to support field operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related electrical, mechanical, technical, or field service experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support for IEM equipment.
• Analyze system failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Document service activities and corrective actions accurately.
