Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Tech II to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on providing frontline technical support for national retail clients, with emphasis on customer service, professionalism, and independent work habits.

The candidate should be able to travel as required, support various IT and printer devices, and maintain detailed ticket documentation. A 40-hour work week is required, with a strong emphasis on in-field problem resolution.

Qualifications

• One year IT technical support experience.
• Cash recycler repair experience is highly preferred.
• CompTIA A+ (Preferred).
• Net+ CompTIA certification preferred.
• Driver's License (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide unparalleled technical support for national home improvement retail clients.
• Be self-motivated with excellent time management and communication; deliver prompt IT/data problem resolution.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve client IT equipment issues within scope.
• Document efforts, issues and resolutions; close cases daily.
• Work with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix) and repair POS, printers, access points, and thin clients.
• Travel within a radius of 25–150+ miles daily; lift up to 25 lbs; 40-hour work week.
