Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks a Field Technician II to be the primary contact for customers on technical issues.

You will troubleshoot, install, manage cabling and collaborate with Level II teams to resolve problems accurately and efficiently, ensuring SLA adherence and documenting outcomes in ServiceNow. You will support a designated customer within a geographic area, coordinating tasks in a fast-paced environment and communicating clearly with customers and teammates to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally with customers, peers and leads.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and tools is required.
• Working knowledge of typical banking equipment.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and SLA.
• Demonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced exchange of hardware and parts as needed.
• Understand customer operations and support processes.
• Communicate status clearly with customers and in ServiceNow.
• Coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Provide status updates per SLA guidelines and follow up with end users.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering to replenish stock.
