Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to maintain and service gas compressor packages in the field. You will learn from and assist senior techs, diagnose failures, and perform preventative maintenance across multiple OEMs.

Responsibilities include installation support, diagnostics, and on-site commissioning with limited supervision. Willingness to travel and work varied hours is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of applicable field service experience.
• Experience with CAT/Waukesha engines and OEM software.
• Experience with natural gas compressor packages and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Submit field service and expense reports daily.
• Provide basic leadership and training to junior technicians.
• Diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and startup of new units.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and unit control panels.
• Travel as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
