Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is looking for a Field Service Technician II to perform maintenance, installation, and commissioning of gas compressor packages in the Houston area. You will learn from and assist senior technicians, diagnosing and repairing equipment in various settings.

The role requires handling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting on-call and travel requirements, with progression toward a Senior Technician role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with vocational/technical experience preferred.
• Must have 5+ years applicable experience in field service for gas compressors.
• Experience with CAT GERP or similar OEM software is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and perform on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Submit accurate field service reports and paperwork daily.
• Provide basic leadership and training to junior technicians.
• Diagnose engine/compressor failures and perform repairs in the field.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and start-up inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and unit control panels.
• Perform basic engine tuning for multiple OEMs.
