Job summary

ABB is seeking a Field Service Technician II to lead start-up, commissioning and post-start-up field services in the data center market across the United States. You will travel extensively, perform medium to high complexity service work, and ensure ABB standards, quality and safety guidelines are followed.

You will collaborate with Site Manager and senior technicians, troubleshoot equipment and assist with spare parts, while maintaining documentation and reporting to support fleet performance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC, Safety Codes and Regulations and QA (Local & National).
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work per order.
• Maintains safety practices and high-quality service delivery.
• Plans and prepares site work for larger project team and manages subcontractors.
• Travels 90-100% across the United States for field service assignments.
• Documents work and uses job-related software to complete reports.
